Frequently Asked Questions

What will my child learn and do?

Classes are guided by student interests, curiosity, and creative exploration. Rather than following the same project every day, students will explore different materials, techniques, and art forms based on their ideas and goals. Students will experiment with both 2D and 3D art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more while developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

What ages are the classes for?

The suggested age range is 7–13 years old. However, there is flexibility depending on the child, their interests, and the needs of sibling groups. Older students are also welcome—please reach out if you are unsure whether the class is a good fit.

Are there discounts for multiple children?

Yes! Sibling and multiple-child discounts are available. Please contact me to discuss options.

Can I register for more than 4 classes or attend both Mondays and Tuesdays?

Yes! Families looking for bulk registration (such as registering for both days or multiple class blocks) may be eligible for a discount. Please email mishel.arrieta.art@gmail.com to discuss options.

Can I see examples of what students will create?

Each student’s artwork will be unique because projects are shaped by their interests, ideas, and creative choices. You can get a sense of the studio style and past work by viewing my Instagram and the event artwork. Classes focus on exploration and personal expression rather than every student creating the exact same project.
