ABOUT ARRIETA ART STUDIOS’ CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
Arrieta Art Studios is managed by a single individual alongside some guest artists. Organizing workshops entails significant pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, scheduling time, and committing to pay assistant instructors based on the number of registered students.
Unfortunately, when guests request cancellations or rescheduling at the last minute, the studio incurs financial losses.
As a small business, it is difficult to absorb these costs while maintaining affordable class prices. In fairness to all our customers, no exceptions to the policy will be made.

PARTIES/FUNDRAISERS/PRIVATE GROUP WORKSHOPS:
To secure and confirm your group event, you must make a deposit when booking.
Deposits are refundable within 7 days of payment if the event is scheduled for 30 or more days in the future. Afterwards, deposits are non-refundable.
Full payment of the remaining balance is due the day before the event.
A deposit of $150 is required for in-studio parties or fundraisers, while a $240 deposit is required for off-site parties.
Events held at nonprofit organizations or schools require a deposit equal to 50% of the final quote provided to you.
PUBLIC WORKSHOPS & EVENTS:
If you have registered and paid for a workshop or event but cannot attend, we are happy to offer the opportunity to reschedule for a future event if you notify us at Inquiries@arrietaart.ca.
Please note that rescheduling is limited to one occurrence.
In the event of a class cancellation or rescheduling due to inclement weather or the instructor’s illness, you will receive a credit for rescheduling the class for a later date.
For events offered by donation preregistrations, donations made will not be refunded if you do not attend.
Rescheduling credits cannot be provided for registrations for workshops hosted by guest instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for your understanding!
Payments can be made via e-transfer to inquiries@arrietaart.ca, cash dropped off in person at the studio, 712c 12th New West, or by asking for a payment link for credit/debit transactions.
