Does it cost anything?

No! However donations to the studio are always appreciated 🙂

What is the social support group?

The ADHD Social Support Group (SSG) held at the Arrieta Art Studio has been in action since 2023. It started from a simple desire to carve out a space for those navigating life with ADHD like myself. It’s a place to vent, share, and uplift one another amidst the unique challenges we face.

It’s a space intentionally designed to be accessible to all – free, inclusive, and with no barriers to entry. There’s no attendance record to uphold, no punctuality requirements, and certainly no need for a formal diagnosis to join in.

Whether you’re dropping in for the first time or have been with us since the beginning, you’re welcomed with open arms. Come as you are, stay as long as you need.

Starting February 2025 we will be hosting Art Therapy for ADHD once a month

What is Art Therapy?
Expressive art therapy is an therapeutic practice that blends visual art, talk, writing, and more to help participants process emotions, uncover meaning, and gain new perspectives. It’s a transformative way to navigate emotions when words fall short.

Why Art Therapy for ADHD?
Art therapy provides a creative, sensory-rich space for individuals with ADHD to explore emotions, improve focus, and have fun. Through activities like painting, sculpting, and writing, participants can express themselves, practice mindfulness, and connect with others who share similar experiences.
