Mansi designs art installations, drawing inspiration from architecture, particularly in how built forms frame our perception of space. Her practice is developed through observation and intuition, often responding to the places in which she works. She is intrigued by how we experience and understand space and how that understanding shapes our sense of place as we inhabit it. She often begins by noticing details of her environment, such as the way light filters through a window or the play of shadows on a wall, and accentuates the phenomena she observes. She documents the process through sketching and photography, adding layers both in the work itself and in its creation. she aims to transform what is familiar and reveal something complex, drawing attention to the ways we see spaces. She has collaborated with architects, sound artists, designers, choreographers, and cultural practitioners to develop, produce, and install artworks and commercial designs.
